My passion for Shih Tzu's really started in 1996 when I purchased my first , His name is Cysco .The first time I saw his lil furry face and big round eyes I was hooked for life. At 12 yrs old he is still with me. Then in 1997 I found Rosalynda, then a friend came to me and said there was a tiny girl that needed a good home, we rescued Pr.Kira . What a great family. We lived in Oregon, I decided to move to Ohio in 2004. Rachel and I looked for months for the right place. We found a place that would be great for our fur babies & us. Lots of area with tree's for even more Fur babies! A creek going thru the property. So we have settled in & here we are @ Creek Side Kennel. There are no kennels, we are not a Puppy Mill. All of our fur babies live in our home with us and are so very spoiled. We started doing Shih Tzu rescue. We have placed more than a few in new loving forever homes. Then I decided I wanted to breed Shih Tzu's. So the journey began to find a few more. I found a very wonderful breeder in Indiana, Gina. Who just loves her fur babies as we do. We have come to love & trust her and think of her as a member of our family. Momma's MidNightStar would be our first male & then a year later came along Momma's Thundar...Both are from Gina's home. It took a few years to gather our mommas. I knew what I wanted and was very particular in temperament,health and color. Our Mommas are, IzzaBella a small white with tan spots she is very active and loves her tummy rubbed. Dolly small Black girl that just loves to be held & kissed.. Coco (Dolly's sister) she's a warm cup-o-chocolate with a liver nose . very cute & different in her coloring. Our Sophie a very tiny girl. she almost weighs 7 #'s. she is brown with a darling black face & white beard. And Daisy, a cute traditional Black & white very inquisitive, always into something or chewing on a brother or sisters leg. There is a room for them...when they want to go, with toddler beds, tons of toys and a nice seat to look out the window & watch the world. However...most nights you will find them in our beds cuddling up to a momma. We adore each of ours as I did the first. They have a huge play area outside that they love to run,romp and play in.Babies. We have about 4 litters a year. each momma is bred only 1 time in a year. She whelps in a Pak N Play in the living room,the first 8 weeks of their lives they live in the P&P. We like to have them close where we can watch over them, touch & kiss them and talk to them anytime of the day. All babies are vaccinated & wormed during the first 8 weeks. all our parents are CKC registered. I have never shipped a puppy, I have had families come from Michigan, New York ,Pa.to pick up a puppy. We also can make arrangements to meet part way once a puppy is Pd in full. Depending on schedules. In the store you will find lots of things at a very reasonable price to keep your fur baby dressed comfortably year round. Also there are some Handcrafted Items. I love to sew , when time allows.(only Poochie Clothes!) and started doing this to help with the cost of health care & placement of the rescues we have. I believe there is a home for every one of them to live in a loving forever home. More than 1 we have loved in our home for more than a year , waiting for that special match! Loving New Homes We purchased our little Rosebud from Maxi and we have been more than happy with Rosebud and with Maxi as a breeder. We purchased Rosedbud on March 16th. We had the opportunity to see Rosebud through pictures that were sent by email every week. Maxi kept in contact with us during that time and has continued to now that we have Rosebud as a member of our family. Rosebud is a white with tan Shih Tzu. She is a very beautiful little girl. Her Mother is Momma's IzzaBella & Father is Momma's Thundar. We are so glad we purchased her . Rosebud joined our family of five. We have 3 children that just love her sooo much. We also have a golden retriever that is 10 (Lady). The 2 dogs get along very well. Rosebud is so well mannered. I was so impressed at how well she fit into our family. Areial Warrensville Heights Oh Our Baby 'Angel' is a rare little girl white with Liver nose & Blue eyes. She absolutely loves to be held and snuggled with. She looks up at you with those big round beautiful blue eyes and you can't help but love on her and give her kisses. That little tail just wags a mile a minute. She fits in good with the rest of the family, Angel slept with her paw print blankie. She is getting used to her new home. And adjusting well. She is a very sweet little girl and I am so glad I found her and fortunate that I am the one who got to be her new mommy. She is just beautiful. Thank you for being so nice. You and Rachel are the kind of people that you feel like you have been friends with and known for years when you have only known you for a short time. I am so happy to have one of your special & beautiful babies from mommasbabies.
